Active, outgoing and friendly young people ages 13 - 18 will learn valuable leadership and work skills while guiding
our younger campers to a summer of adventure and lasting memories.
Teen Leadership Counselors in Training (CITs) assist Senior Staff members in the program fun and supervision of an assigned
group of campers ages 5-8. While a CIT is never left alone to supervise a group, the CIT will develop valuable supervisory,
teaching, coaching and real work experience and skills.
CITs use their work experience with our camps to develop solid references and enhance their resumes and work background
when seeking future employment or educational opportunities.
CITs will assist senior staff in providing a fun, exciting program for all campers, become positive
role models for younger campers and grow lots of great friendships with fellow CITs and senior staff.
We recognize that CITs are young people deserving of an adventure filled, exciting and fun summer vacation and this program
is flexible enough to offer the CIT the valuable leaderships skills while encouraging them to make the most of their
summer experience also.
Only responsible, friendly, outgoing and fun oriented Teens are accepted in this program. The CIT
will be required to function and fulfill duties with age appropiate responsibilities as a member of our support staff.
We offer a rewarding, fun and adventurous summer for our CIT's and in return we ask that the CIT is helpful, responsible
and capable of assisting in the program support and ensuring the safety of our younger campers.
We do not offer Teen Leadership Camp for Skate Camp, Media Arts or Bay Area
Explorers.
Teen Leadership for Jr Explorers Camp
( Includes all transportations to and from base camp and admisssions to activities)
Fee: $150 per week
Times are 9am - 3pm
Teen Leadership for Sports Camps (relevant sports experience preferred, must be active
and athletic)
Sport Only (9am - 12pm M-Th)
Fee: $50 per two week session
Sports Deluxe Package (9am - 3pm M-Fri) join us for afternoon fun and a Friday trip to
Waterworld)
Fee: $250 per two week session ($125 per week)
This option is for Teens who wish to spend a whole day with us and includes sports camps in the morning and afternoon
fun like bowling, swimming, movies and a Friday Waterworld trip. Teens will continue their helpful assistance in the
afternoon and also participate in all afternoon fun activities.
Extended Care and Transportation options are also available.
Extended Care: $65 per week (8am - 5:30pm)
Transportation: $50 per week
From and to downtown Walnut Creek, Hwy 24 and Hwy 13 junction in Oakland area (just outside the caldecott tunnel) , Martinez, Orinda
Safeway, Brentwood, and San Ramon Lucky store on Crow Canyon, Livermore and Castro Valley locations
are to be determined but will be convenient on/ off freeway locations.:
Note: Transportation services are run on a single route basis and are not able to be combined with extended
care services unless the camper is dropped off or picked up at one of the directions for the day. ( Example:
we pick up in the morning but extended care in the afternoon with parent picking up at our base camp) We are not
able to offer multiple routes at different times to the same area.
