Special Interpretive and Educational experiences of our Bay Area home include:
*Canoeing in the Sloughs
We'll partner with the "Save the Bay" organization and campers will learn about the intricate and
fragile eco-systems of the S.F. Bay up close and personal while canoeing in the sloughs of wetlands and marshes on the Bay.
It's a day long, immersion in Bay area ecology. It's educational and kids love this program also!
**Restoration Projects
Campers participate directly in hands on restoration of Bay wetland habitats. While learning about
the Bay, campers will help improve habitat by removing non native plants, transplanting native plants, collecting seeds, cleaning
up the shoreline and monitoring sites.
