Television Production Camp ( 1 week session)
June 21 - June 25, 2010
Campers will learn the ropes of Television Production both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. It's
a progressive journey from learning about the equipment and storyboarding to the final finished production.... a video show
that could be shown on KIDs T.V.!
Camp Fees: $295 (This is a 1 week session)
Movie Production Camp: (ages 9 -16) ( 2 week
session)
July 5 - July 16, 2010
Campers will be organized into
smaller groups and learn and participate in the complete process of movie making from screenplay, storyboarding, scene development,
acting, directing, post production, editing and production of their very own commemorative DVD of their group’s debut
film. Field trips to various Bay Area locations (local) for movie scenes are
included as well.
Camp Fee: $535 ( This
is a 2 week session)
Newsroom / Journalism Camp
(2 week session)
July 19-July 30, 2010
Budding journalism stars will be organized
into news show related groups (News, Weather, Sports and Advertising) and learn and participate in the overall process of
creating and producing a news show and at the end of the camp the team as a whole will produce and edit their very own 30
minute news broadcast and take home their very own commemorative DVD. Field trips
to local news hot spots like City Hall, Fire Stations, Sports Fields etc. are included.
Camp Fee: $535 ( This is a 2 week session)
Camp Details:
Transportation from our Dublin location is included at no additional charge for these
camps
Location: Contra Costa Jewish Community Center Tice Valley Blvd. in Walnut Creek ( near Rossmoor)
Campers will also enjoy traditional summer fun like swimming, games and other fun activities.
Hours ( all camps) : 9am - 3pm
Extended Care: $65 per week (8am - 5:30pm)
Transportation $50 per week : from and to downtown Walnut Creek, Hwy 24 and Hwy 13 junction
in Oakland area (just outside the caldecott tunnel) Martinez and Orinda Safeway .
Transportation to and from our Dublin base camp is included in the cost of camp fees.
Note: Transportation services are run on a single route basis and are not able to be combined with extended care
services unless the camper is dropped off or picked up at one of the directions for the day. We are
not able to offer multiple routes at different times to the same area.
