California Adventure Camps

Late Summer Specials!   Any camp except Teen Leadership ( Explorers, Junior Explorers or Skateboard Camp) for weeks of August 2 thru August 20th are now on sale for $200.  You must register on line or by mail no later than July 30 to qualify for this special.    Spaces are limited, so SIGN UP NOW!   Discounts apply only to regular camp fees.  Options ( transportation or extended care etc. are at regular price)

There are spots available in all camp sessions at the current time.  We will update this information as sessions begin to fill.    California Adventure Camps has base camps in Walnut Creek and Dublin.   Summer 2010 has our very best summer camp offerings:  Click on links to go directly to page for more details and registration.   Bay Area and Junior Explorers   Ages 5-16 enjoy the best summer fun that the Bay Area has to offer.  Discovery Kingdom, Waterworld, Windsurfing, Horseback Riding, Mini Golf, Movies, Bowling and more.   Summer Skateboarding Camp (Ages 6-16) Campers ages 6-16 enjoy perfecting their craft at local area skateparks. Skaters will receive coaching from some of the best local skaters and all will enjoy friendships and lots of skate fun.  A Weekly trip to Water World is included in your registration.    fe KIDS T.V. Production Camp  ( Ages 8-13) Campers ages 8-16 will learn the ropes of Television Production both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.  It's a progressive journey from learning about the equipment and storyboarding to the final finished production.... a video show that could be shown on KIDs T.V.!    Movie Making Camp: (ages 9 -16)  Campers will be organized into smaller groups and learn and participate in the complete process of movie making from screenplay, storyboarding, scene development, acting, directing, post production, editing and production of their very own commemorative DVD of their group’s debut film.  Field trips to various Bay Area locations (local) for movie scenes are included as well.   Newsroom / Journalism Camp (ages 9-16) Budding journalism stars will be organized into news show related groups (News, Weather, Sports and Advertising) and learn and participate in the overall process of creating and producing a news show and at the end of the camp the team as a whole will produce and edit their very own 30 minute news broadcast and take home their very own commemorative DVD.  Field trips to local news hot spots like City Hall, Fire Stations, Sports Fields etc. are included.   Soccer Fundamentals Camp (Ages 5-12) Basic, beginner level soccer instruction and conditioning   Soccer Intermediate Skills Camp ( Ages 7-13) Players who have the basic ability, understanding and grasp of the game will participate in more detailed instruction designed to stretch their current level of ability and conditioning.  Prerequisite:  Must have prior team based soccer experience and /or successfully completed Soccer Fundamentals Camp.   Flag Football  ( Ages 5-13) Beginner to Intermediate level flag football instruction and fun.   Quarterback / Receiver Camp  ( Ages 10-14) This program is a NON CONTACT intensive for Beginner and low Intermediate level QBs and Receivers age 10- 14  It is focused on run game QB footwork, agility training, blocking , throwing and catching mechanics, routes, reads, stemming and formations.  Perfect for budding flag or tackle stars and a great intro to high school football.   This is a NON CONTACT, NO PADS camp.    Baseball is Fun Beginner Camp ( Ages 6-13) A fun, low key program of baseball instruction where players learn baseball the old fashioned way… by having fun!    Basketball is Fun Beginner Camp (Ages 6-13) Beginner level, age appropriate basketball instruction.   Basketball is Fun Intermediate Camp  (Ages 7-13) Players will hone their growing skills and challenge their abilities in a fun and exciting program for Intermediate level players with some experience but needing functional improvement at a level above beginner.  For players with prior team based experience or successful completion of Beginning Basketball is Fun Camp.    Beginner Lacrosse  (Ages 8-13) Beginner level lacrosse instruction.  All required equipment is provided.   Beginner Tackle Football  ( Ages 6-13) Players are instructed in basic fundamentals of tackle football with special emphasis on proper and safe tackling.  Players are exposed to all positions on offense and defense.  This is a FULL PADS, CONTACT PROGRAM.  All required equipment is provided with deposit except cleats, mouthguard and hard cup.           We also have many camps offered in the Tri Valley / Dublin area next summer as well.    You can still use credit card for payment with the mail in form by selecting PAYPAL payment and we will send you a link to pay online.
